The Uni-Taur

Got this idea for the unfortunate character played by Steve Medeiros, (@4eDnd from Twitter.) His minotaur was disfigured from a trap and I tried to convince him that the lady minotaurs were WAY into that kind of thing.

(Uni-taur is not to be confused with the Pegacorn...)

Keep it Real, Guys. 2!

Here's the final colored version. Art Decoooooo!

Keep it Real, Guys.

Here's another bizarrely titled Art Deco Poster concept.

Thanks for your comments! Seriously.

Little Help Here?

We have an Art Deco assignment one of my classes, so I thought I'd draw this iconic strongman... and make sure you'd have to look twice by writing something weird in the text.

Enjoy! I appreciate your comments!

I Love You More!

This is just a goofy doodle I did at church for Meredith. I might frame it and hang it on our wall somewhere. :)

Marriage Flow Chart

We were having a lesson in church about possible different levels of marriage cohesiveness.

I put my brother, Bruce, at the bottom because he isn't married. He was sitting next to me and got a kick out of this Marriage Flow Chart.

My Geology Professor

This is a sketch I made of my highly animated Geology teacher, Professor Eaton.

This man knows how to get excited about divergent plate boundaries and plagioclaise feldspar.

Wood Burnt...

This was a first for me in a lot of ways. I was practicing using a wood burner, and this scruffy looking guy was the result. I took him home and cut him out with some instruction from Bruce on the scroll saw.

The best thing was that I didn't even use a real wood burner. It was a soldering iron. :D

Incomplete Odin

Here's another quick one I did during my drawing class. Incomplete, but still pretty cool.

In my drawing class I drew this incredibly passionate buff-guy, and my teacher specifically requested I upload this picture to this site.

You should love Neil Young too.

This is my concept drawing of how a half-orc would look different from a regular orc.

Now my problem is that I want to make a half-orc character for D&D, and I don't have a campaign to do that.

Spear Trap and Halfling Rogue

Boy, did I ever make the wrong character...

This is about the summation of how the D&D game is going at the comic book store Wednesday nights. 3 weeks in a row, and we have fought one battle... against 3 monsters... The rest of the time we spend slowly moving through the trap laden dungeon, utterly terrified of instant death.

Last session I decided that perhaps dying would be the most exciting thing that had happened in some time, so I took my Gnoll Avenger and crawled across a shaking room to open a door. Of course the door was really a wall that shot spears out of it. Unfortunately, the others dragged me back and healed me.

The whole time I'm in this campaign I think, "If I were just a halfling rogue, I would show everyone who's boss." because we don't even have a rogue in the party, just a warlord and a sorcerer trained in thievery.
